WHAT YOU SHOULD DO AFTER AN EARTHQUAKE

  • DO NOT LEAVE STRAIGHT AWAY THE PLACE YOU ARE IN
  •  WHEN LEAVING YOUR HOME TAKE WITH YOU YOUR IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENTS, A FLASHLIGHT, A PORTABLE RADIO AND PERSONAL ITEMS
  • SHUT OFF THE MAIN GAS PIPE AND ELECTRICAL WIRING
  • DO NOT USE OPEN FLAMES
  • IF A FIRE HAS STARTED TRY TO EXTINGUISH IT
  • ALERT THE DESIGNATED SPECIAL INTERVENTION SERVICES
  • GIVE FIRST AID TO THOSE WHO ARE INJURED
  • CALM DOWN THE PEOPLE WHO ARE PANICKING OR SCARED, ESPECIALLY KIDS.
  • DRESS ACCORDINGLY TO THE SEASON
  • AFTER THE EARTHQUAKE CALMLY EXIT THE BUILDING WITHOUT TAKING UNNECESSARY THINGS WITH YOU. FIRST CHECK THE STAIRCASE AND THE EXIT BEFORE LEAVING
  • GIVE PRIORITY TO THOSE WHO ARE INJURED, CHILDREN, THE ELDERLY AND WOMEN.
  • DO NOT TOUCH THE LIVE ELECTRIC CONDUCTORS OR OTHER ELECTRIC WIRING
  • REFUTE RUMOURS, FALSE INFORMATION, PANIC AND CHAOS.
  • AVOID, AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, MOVING ON THE STREETS
  • HELP THE DESIGNATED INTERVENTION TEAMS WHILE LISTENING TO THEIR DIRECTORIES

 

EVACUATION IN CASE OF A FLOOD

  • RESPECT THE PREDETERMINED EVACUATION ORDER: CHILDREN, ELDERLY, THE SICK. FIRST OF ALL AVOID THE MOST DANGEROUS AREAS
  • BEFORE EXITING YOUR HOUSE TURN OFF THE WATER, GAS, ELECTRICITY AND SHUT THE WINDOWS.
  • TAKE OUT THE ANIMALS FROM THE HOUSEHOLD AND LEAD THEM TO A PLACE THAT OFFERS PROTECTION
  • WHEN LEAVING YOUR HOME TAKE WITH YOU YOUR PAPERS AND FOOD PROVISIONS, WATER, DRESSING CASE, FLASHLIGHT, A PORTABLE RADIO, AND IN COLD WEATHER WEAR WARM CLOTHES
  • AFTER ARRIVING AT THE SHELTER, ACT CALMLY, TAKE YOUR DESIGNATED SEATS, PROTECT AND FOSTER THE KIDS, RESPECT THE DETERMINED MEASURES.
